E-Safety

'Create, Connect and share respect: A better internet starts with you' - the message which is being promoted to your children for a better future.

Stay SMART!

Stay SMART! 1

Here at Drury Primary School we want to ensure:

  • that young people will be responsible users and stay safe while using the internet and other communications technologies for educational, personal and recreational use.
  • that school systems and users are protected from accidental or deliberate misuse that could put the security of the systems and users at risk.
  • that parents and guardians are aware of the importance of e-Safety and are involved in the education and guidance of young people with regard to their on-line behaviour.

We will also try to ensure that pupils will have good access to digital technologies to enhance their learning and will, in return, expect the pupils to agree to be responsible users. In order to achieve this we expect the children to adhere to a number of rules and sign an Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) of their own. One for Foundation Phase pupils and another for KS2 pupils. Please find copy of these below for your information.

School re-opens for pupils on Monday, 5 November 2018
