Visit from Captain Stu

 

Following on from our learning about Amelia Earhart, Captain Stu came in to talk to us about flying a modern day plane.

Captain Stu works for Virgin Airlines and regularly flies to and from the United States of America.

 

The children learnt all about the plane and some fun facts..... Did you know that a plane can hold the weight of 40 elephants and is the length of 2 full football pitches!!!

We also had lots of fun dressing up as pilots.

 

 

The more we learn, the more we know. Ysgol Drury is a great place to grow!🌳
